Kelsey Jones is an Arizona native that now lives in the East Bay, California. She has been an art educator for the past twelve years, teaching all ranges of artistic mediums to elementary, middle and high school students. In the studio, Kelsey focuses on landscape and abstract imagery connected to transformative experiences of space and memories through varying forms of printmaking including, drypoint etching, chine colle, monoprints, linoleum prints, screen prints and book making. Her goal is to communicate the inner experience that the landscapes around us provide while also being informed through the exploratory creative practices her students process in their artwork. When not in the studio or classroom, Kelsey is out experiencing the landscape herself through trail running, hiking and backpacking.
